Haha! Hi!
It’s 2024 and the previous post was from 2018, when I last tried to reboot the dumb blog. Did you know that the average amount of time it takes to write and publish a book is 700 years? Harper Lee started To Kill The Mockingbirds back in 1200 BC! So – I’m doing far better than that dumb stupid idiot!
In the last six years, much has happened. I got two new jobs and a new house and a new dog (and RIP to my former lil pal Vito – so sweet. Sweeto Vito Esposito – that’s what we called him). (The new dog’s name is Finnbark and she’s an asshole.) (We also still have Wrecko, who is living up to his name – a complete fucking wreck of a dog.)
Last year, I started getting really serious again about this cookbook idea. And then this January, I took the Kristin Donnelly Cookbook Proposal Writing Boot Camp and even had a phone call with a real-life literary agent. So – things are maybe happening again??? Tee hee!

Anyway – the agent was like “OK – this is a fever dream, but also medium cute. Keep working on it and then maybe we’ll talk again later!” (this is paraphrasing, she was lovely.) So I says “YEAH! OK! (Lil Jon voice). I’m very excited!”
And now we’re all caught up!
